Garment District Office Space The Garment District NYC is located in Midtown Manhattan between 42nd Street and 34th Street and Fifth Avenue and Ninth Avenue. Seventh Avenue, between the blocks of 42nd and 34th, is known as Fashion Avenue. There you’ll find the Fashion Walk of Fame with star-shaped plaques embedded in the sidewalk to honor the titans of the fashion industry. As you would expect, there are many fashion showrooms in the Garment District, but competitive prices for NYC office space in the Garment District have also drawn other types of companies to the area. The majority of fashion showrooms are concentrated on West 38th Street and West 39th Street and within a few, prime fashion showroom buildings on Broadway and Seventh Avenue. Some noteworthy fashion showroom buildings are 530 Seventh Avenue, 1407 Broadway, 231 West 39th Street, 214 West 39th Street, and 209 West 38th Street.

Midtown Manhattan Office Space Although there are plenty of NYC office spaces in other parts of the city, Midtown is thought of as Manhattan’s central business district, and one of the premier locations for office space in Manhattan. Geographically, most offices in Midtown Manhattan fall between 34th Street and 59th Street and between 9th Avenue and 2nd Avenue. Midtown can be divided into 3 sections: Midtown East, Midtown West, and Midtown South. Midtown is home to various types of businesses, with a large number of law firms, accounting firms, hedge funds, and other investment companies. The skyline in Midtown is dominated by towering Class A office buildings, as well as residential skyscrapers, that hoist the titians of industry high above the busy city streets. Some of the most notable office buildings in Midtown include the Chrysler Building, the Empire State Building, the GM Building, the Seagrams Building, and the Rockefeller Center complex, to name just a few. Other noteworthy places in Midtown are Grand Central Terminal, Times Square, Radio City Music Hall, and the New York Public Library.

If you’ve ever spent much time in Midtown Manhattan you probably know that Fifth Avenue is the dividing line between east and west. Therefore, 152 West 57th Street is west of Fifth Avenue, while 150 East 58th Street is east of Fifth Ave. The landscape in Midtown West is dominated by office space buildings, with residential towers sprinkled in here and there.
