Chelsea Office Space Chelsea is a large neighborhood that includes many diverse and quite different areas. It spans from 14thStreet to roughly 29th Street and Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River. Much of Chelsea is residential and has a wide variety of housing options. In addition to apartments, there is the arts district in West Chelsea near the Highline where many of the top galleries have spaces, the vibrant Meatpacking District and Chelsea Market near 14th Street, and the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) on Seventh Avenue. In terms of value for NYC office space, Chelsea tends to be a more affordable option than the adjacent Flatiron District and Union Square. The primary business district in Chelsea, where the vast majority of office space can be found, is located between Sixth and Seventh Ave in the 20s. The nicest office buildings in Chelsea are found along Seventh Avenue leading to Penn Station, but there are also many serviceable loft buildings on the side streets where technology and creative companies have set up shop.

Penn Station Office Space With more than half a million commuters passing through its doors every weekday, Penn Station is the busiest transportation hub in New York City. For employees riding the rails into Manhattan from New Jersey or Long Island, it can be very convenient to lease office space near Penn Station. This not only shaves time off the commute, but also saves money on an MTA card, which adds up to nearly $1,500 per year.  Penn Station is bordered by four neighborhoods: the Garment District to the north, Chelsea to the south, Hudson Yards to the west, and Midtown South to the east. As you can imagine, there are many NYC office spaces located near Penn Station, including a group of eponymous office buildings that carry the Penn Plaza name: One Penn Plaza, 14 Penn Plaza, 31 Penn Plaza, and 21 Penn Plaza, just to name a few. In addition to these namesake buildings, another notable building is Nelson Tower on the corner of West 34th Street and Seventh Avenue.
